Building the idea
Scenography
The second part of the designing procedure is to create the idea in a real scale dimensions. One of the rules that a designer should never forget is to create and build every element of the project as precise and safe as possible. According to this notion, I created a series of draft drawings-designs in order to investigate more about the stability and find the best solution for my set.

A drawing that demonstrates the calculations in order to find the correct dimensions for the frame according to the dimensions of the door.

A drawing that presents the way how everything will be combined and set up together on stage. Front, Side view and a detail from the L heavy duty Brackets.

This drawing was created in order to define the shape of the ring on the floor. According to the space and the dimensions of the theatre that I would have for the final show, I had a dilemma in mind, which was to choose between the circle and the ellipse shape. These are the calculations for the elliptic shape.

A short presentation day (-SCRATCH-),that we had to show our projects in the Theatre Space, in order to have a feedback from our tutors and peers, so we could fix some problems or make some valuable changes for our final performances.
The image gallery below presents the step by step procedure of setting up the scenography of the piece.
I painted white in order to complete the design.
I used this material in order to hide the connections and the holes from the screws in the wood surfaces.
I used this material for the front and back of the frame, in order to keep the door stable and safe for the dancer to use it. This material can hold 60 kilos each.
The following images demonstrate parts of the performance from the Scratch Show I used only front projection:
For the top projection I had to design and build a base for the projector in order to place it on the flying bar of the theatre, but without placing it vertically due to the fact that this type of projector was designed for horizontal positions only. According to this limitation I created a base with an adjustable in rotation mirror in order to create a 45 degrees reflection,so I could have the vertical projection.
Final Music
For the exhibition we decided to create a sculpture with flats with different matterials and lighting in order to project our designing process for the final show. The image below demonstrates the structure:
